Merry Christmas

Welcome to the final newsletter of 2005. Even the Shape of Money newsletter is getting a little traditional. In December, we add no new content to the site and let you get on with the silly season instead.

However, we do want to take this opportunity to thank you for your support throughout the year. We have been gratified by the response from our newsletter subscribers, the on-line users who have contacted us, and all those now using the Shape of Money as their financial adviser.

Looking to next year

Next year we're planning to continue to use the experience gained from working at the financial advisory coalface to build new content for the site.

Topics to look forward to next year include:

  • A calculator to help you plan for your retirement,
  • Lessons from the some of the great investment bubbles (and, ultimately, the crashes), and
  • Some information on leverage equities - it's not just property that uses borrowing to increase returns.

However, if there's a topic you wish us to address through the newsletter, then please do not hesitate to contact us.
